AFTER DARK HORRORFEST® *JAPAN Begins!
“AFTER DARK HORRORFEST®” is a large scale horror film festival created by After Dark Films, a company which has forwardly been creating /distributing horror movies. Horrorfest was launched in November of 2006 and premiered at over 500 theatres in 35 cities across the US. Every year it has premiered 8 carefully selected new horror films and has incorporated audience participation by holding a poll for the most popular movie and a horror queen contest. In January 2010, Horrorfest will have its 4th Anniversary and over the years it has grown to be a large movement supported by a wide range of fans, not just within the horror field.
“AFTER DARK HORRORFEST®”will officially land in Japan in 2010 starting Halloween October 31 premiering at Theatre N in Shibuya, Tokyo. We hope this will be an annual Halloween event starting with this year’s 6 feature films.
