August 12, 2009 - "Hello... I want to play a game," those are the immortal words Saw's sadistic purveyor of self-imposed twisted justice Jigsaw utters to his victims as they come to. And if you hear those words you're soon to find yourself in a world of hurt. Back for the sixth installment of the Saw horror series this Halloween (in theaters October 23), moviegoers will once again cringe in their seats as blood, guts and body parts are up for grabs.
In Saw VI, Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw's legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw's grand scheme is finally understood.
What started out as a "little" indie horror movie back in 2004 has turned into a juggernaut go-for-the-throat franchise so gruesome you want to turn away, yet so compelling you just can't. And fittingly enough, the movie soundtracks have always been amicable counterparts assaulting the senses in a fashion that would make Jigsaw proud.
The SawVI Soundtrack will be comprised of 18 of the best exclusive and unreleased hard rock and metal music currently available. Adding to the sonic assault to the SawVI Soundtrack is Charlie Clouser (ex-Nine Inch Nails), who will be providing a few songs from the score of the film.
Trustkill's Josh Grabelle said, "We are stoked about this soundtrack as we've managed to place songs from some of the most exciting hard rock and metal bands in the scene on this one. We are all huge fans of the Saw movies and are ready to knock this one out of the park!"
